I have placed these flags above the American Flag for a reason, I believe we need to be a unified people,

Welcome to my POW/MIA dedication page
Keep Private First Class (PFC) Keith Matt Maupin in your prayers. He has been Missing in Action since 9 April 2004 when his convoy came under attack – and he was captured!
POW - MIA -KIA
THINK FOR A MOMENT ABOUT WHAT THAT STANDS FOR ...
Prisoner of War - Missing in Action - Killed in Action
It means a great deal more than just three words abbreviated .
Young men and women of all faiths, nationalities, social status, and verying degrees of education...Faught for our freedoms, beliefs, and privilages. They faught for the same reasons in territories unfamiliar to themselves, on foriegn soils and for a cause that was unknown to most at that present time. Most were told you go - no question asked, following orders of commanding officers, and the call to duty from their homeland. Upholding the honor and codes they took an oath to protect, and being solid American citizens.
Many young died, disappeared, or were captured; tortured and left for dead. Most service men and women are and have been under the impression that "No man, gets left behind", and that they had become brothers, united physically, emotionally, and psychologically, and fighting the same cause.
This was not true; for most were actually fighting one cause; to survive..having been dropped into unfamiliar lands, coditions, and upheaval. Most where barely out of high school.
LEST WE FORGET---
They were given no choice, being patriotic Americans , and answering the call to duty, protecting the freedoms of others and laying down their lives. America's government felt it necessary to intercede on behalf of others, and opted to put our brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers lives in harms way on foriegn soils.
So began the protesting across America's institutional campuses, the criticisms toward the American soldiers, and the un-ethical treatments they endoured upon return to their homeland.
But, nothing compares to the disgrace and dishonor our many soldiers, sailors, and other veterans endour in todays society. The government chooses a simple "Deniability claim. "They were not there, or if they were we are doing everything we can to return their remains"
Tribute has been paid in the form of "The Wall" a small, but fiitting memorial at best. This wall only shows those service members they know about, gives a place to remember family, friends, comrades, and brotherhood. The gift for paying the ultimate sacrifice...your name carved in stone.
What of those fitting into our other three catagories? Those that are un accounted for and still missing. Those fathers, sons, mothers, and grandparents.
We as Americans, can not allow the government to just tuck away those lives, and memories of these individuals, these "Hero's", in a stack of paper in some file somewhere. We must keep the issue at the forfront of politics and put pressure on the powers that be, to maintain and uphold their dilligence to fulfill a promise to the American people and Servicemen.
a promise
"TO BRING EM HOME"
We need everyones help in doing the things they no longer can do for themselves.
"They faught for us, now we must fight for them"
Bring them home America..
To all missing service men and women,
" we honor you, your lives, your duty, honor, and forever your memory."
and lastly that famous phrase..
-"It Don*t Mean Nothin*!
But it really meant, everything.
‘I know why I am free and I know who died for my freedom.’
There will always be someone, that will
"Never Forget"
Its time America, brings you Home !
As a final thought : please read carefully what this picture says...
